eWON CD Modem Connection

Hello,

is there anyway to check if the internal modem of my eWon 141 is working properly?

I have been trying to set up a dail-up connection for it, but keep getting an error saying that no modem is installed.

The Cosy 141 doesn’t offer a dial up or PSTN connection.
Do you mean an eWON CD or Flexy product?

oh yea, sorry. it’s an ewon CD.
I’m trying to set it up so that it can be used as a modem to access a siemens PLC through the MPI interface.
I followed this guide :

but got stuck at the creating the dail up connection

Does your PC have a modem as well? Did you have an analog phone line at the eWON?

no i don’t have an analog phone line at the eWon. I do however have a SIM-Card in it so that it can work as a GPRS modem, unless i’m mistaken?

Ah alright so this is a 3G connection, apologies the previous thread posts referenced PSTN.

Have you looked at this post? It does a pretty good job of outlining configuring the 3G cellular service.
