Ping Flexy 205 after on-line

When running the wizards, I can ping the device up to the point the VPN wizard is completed. After the VPN wizard is complete, I can no longer ping the device by IP or name? Is there a way to allow me to ping it so that I can confirm that it is still on the network?

Are you trying to ping the device locally or when you’re connected to it through eCatcher?

I am trying to ping it locally on the same network that it is on. It just surprised me that once it was “online” not connected, that I could not even confirm that it is on the network.

Hmm that’s strange it should still respond to local pings without issues.

Can you send me a backup.tar file from eBuddy with the support files included?

Here you go. So this is not normal? I tried it a few times and the ping works up until the point that I enter the VPN activation key.

By default the WANItfProt goes from 2 to 1 after it connects to vpn. you can allow ping response on the WAN to by changing it back to 2 or 3
