Is there a white paper or example on how to set up an AB7072 to communicate between an AB PV+7 and an SLC 5/04 PLC via serial comms?

Will the AB PV+7 be an EIP scanner/master? The ab7072 is itself a EIP adapter/slave and can send out DF1 request but it is not a DF1 slave.

We also have white papers for configuring this as an adapter in studio 5000. This is usually done with a PLC on the 5000 side. I do not know if this will work with your Panelview HMI directly.

From what I have read in a different post on the forum, the PV sends explicit messages to the PLC to communicate. It doesn’t look like this will work for my application. I found this after I sent the question. Thank you for the response.
