On the Ethernet/Ip Scanner (Top) side of the gateway i have the following.
LA - Solid Green.
MS- Flashing Red
NS- Flashing Green
The Ip Addresses where setup and network was configured using rsnetworx for EIP. Cannot seem to get the minor fault cleared and any comm to encoder.

It sounds like you have the wrong parameters set up for the connection (i.e. connection points or I/O sizes). Were you give the correct parameters from the Encoder OEM (or EDS file)?
Keep in mind that what you set in the Anybus Config Manager has to exactly match what you configure with RSNetworx (or in the Scanner web interface.)

Try just changing the Connection Point for Config to 10.
Though I would share the solution. Using Rsnetworx EIP the EDS files were imported and all was left at default.
I seems my initial fault was not having the correct data sized mapped between the EIP and Modbus.
The network had two encoder.
