ABC3007 EDS Byte Limitation

Hi,

I was just about to configure my IO mapping after setting up the ABC3007.
However, when I try to enter in that amount, I am getting restricted to values between 0-500. I would have expected to be restricted from 0-1500.
Can you please advice where I am going wrong, with any suggestions to how I can fix my problem?
I do not know if this is an EDS file problem or a Logix problem.

This is due to a limitation in RSLogix 5000, not the Communicator. The reason is because Rockwell doesn’t support large forward open service with Class 1 connections.

To be able to assign more than 500 bytes, it is necessary to use a Class 3 connection as explained in the video below.
