Our customers have mentioned that integrating other devices is easier. I was hoping to add the list of process data and a description to the GSDML file. Is this possible and where do I add it. I’ve read the Profinet documentation and I’m not sure where to put this.

How did you create your GSD file? Did you use the HMS GSD generator? This should be pulling in the parameter names from the name given to the ADI.
This example would have SPEED and REF_SPEED_XYZ as parameters as seen in the Profinet simulator.
Can you share your GSD to give me a better idea of the issue?
Thank you. I was trying to add this to older firmware based off the older starter kit. If I add the ADIs to the GSDML file do I need to have it tested to be approved for Profinet?
You will need to check with the conformance lab regarding this but I would not expect that a full conformance test to be required. This may allow for a test by vendor.
