Anybus Communicator - Unresponsive

The module keeps going unresponsive when attempting connection with Anybus Configuration Manager - “No module was found, retry?”

Are you selecting the right COM port for the device?

Yes, since I’m able to connect to the module occasionally. The connection only lasts a couple of minutes, after which time the module disappears again.

Do you have another cable you could try to see if the connection holds better?

Yes, I’ve already tried several cables, rebooting the computer, and power cycling the device.

Just as one other thing to try, could you maybe try connecting with another laptop/pc and see if that makes any difference? If not maybe we could try a factory restore

It’s not the computer since I’m able to communicate just fine with other devices over COM ports.

After the module has gone offline the last time, I’ve been unable to re-connect to it in order to attempt a factory reset.

Ok, I just have one last question, can you tell me what the LEDs on the front of the device are doing?
