Setting up a set of 4 Anybus Wireless Bolts that will all be on the same network. I initially had problems connecting because of the default gateway and automatic adapter configuration wouldn’t connect. Set manually and was able to connect. Wanted to change the default gateway to 0.0.0.0 to disable to match the existing network architecture, but the Bolt won’t save this configuration.

Is there a way to remove the default gateway in the configuration so that I don’t have to change all my other devices?

Hello,

A valid IP is required for the gatway. You can set the IP to the bolts own IP if needed. This should accomplish the equivalent of 0.0.0.0 .

Thank you. Controls guy with ME background, IP config still contains some mysteries, apparently.

no problem! Glad I could help it is a bit odd we can’t have 0.0.0.0 as the gateway.
