Bolt dropping communication Periodically

Customer has 3 bolts, 1 is an access point and 2 are clients. The customer runs the AP as a 5 GHz band within 10 feet of the clients. Periodically and at random, the AP drops communication between the two clients. Fast Roaming is disabled, and the device is on it’s latest firmware.

I will need to investigate this issue further to determine the root cause of failure.

Do you think you ccan run a wireshark trace onthe bolt to get the data for the disconnects?

I can do that, I would just need some instruction on how to complete this.

Ok I’m downloading the wireshark now. I’ve never used this software, so I’ll try and see what I get. I did just notice the last time the interruption happened the uptime on the access point was reset. Seems like its powering down each time the interruption happens.

So I’ve been running the wireshark since earlier and the connection hasn’t dropped out yet. Wanted to give a quick update. This happens so infrequently that I’m not sure when it will happen.
