CLIDLE explaination

Hello,

HMS documentation states that the Clidle parameter is “Client mode idle time out before hangup”.

I was wondering if more light could be shed on what exactly idle means. Is this incoming traffic on the webserver? Outgoing traffic on the webserver? VPN traffic, etc etc? We have devices set to 43,200 (half a day) to assist in keeping M2Web connected devices online for as long as possible.

Thank you.

Hi Nick,

I believe this parameter is for the modem so would expect it to be any traffic the modem is sending out.

Setting MaxCallDur to 0 and Clidle to 0 should disable the time outs if that is your goal.
