I currently have 2 products using the CompactCom Ethernet IP module, one designed for the M30 and one designed for the M40. The M40 design uses the SPI interface, the M30 design uses the older serial interface. I would like to know the estimated or guaranteed life left for the M30 module as well as what it would take to move to the M40.

Hello, You will want to follow up with your local HMS sales team for details but with the M40 available it is the recommended line to develop for. The M30 is in a Mature state and is no longer in active development. Appendix B of the Hardware Design Guide has some details on the compatibility between the two.
