Cosy 131 NAT 1:1 without VPN

Hello,
I have a Cosy 131 configured to work via NAT1:1.
I Configured IP addresses in “NAT 1:1 on WAN” and set:
FWRDtoWAN = 1
WANITFPROT = 2
NATITF = 3
NAT1:1 works fine, Cosy is connected to internet. I can reach PLC both from VPN connection and from local connection.
But, if I disconnect Cosy from Internet, NAT1:1 doesn’t work anymore. Port 4 and port 3 are configured as WAN.
In a post I read that, maybe, NAT1:1 can work only if VPN connection is active, for security reasons.
I already read post:

but my doubts remain.
So, can I really use NAT1:1 without VPN? Do I need special configuration?

Neither internet nor VPN connections are required for NAT 1:1. Are you disconnecting the internet or the WAN cable (or both)?

I configured port 3 and port 4 as WAN port. port 4 is connected to our intranet. I connected my laptop to port 3.
NAT1:1 seems working only if ethernet cable is connected to WAN port 4 (VN working).
I also tried with only port 4 configured ad WAN. When I disconnect cable to our intranet and connect my Laptop, NAT 1:1 does not work.
I also did tests both by configuring the WAN port to DHCP and with static IP address. Same result.
I already followed the procedure illustrated in the attached document.
If no VPN connection is required I will did further test.
Maybe i did some trivial error.

Try doing a factory reset so the Talk2m info is completely deleted.

I probably messed up using DHCP for the WAN address.
also, after a reboot, the cozy takes a minute or two before reconnecting over NAT1:1.
I confirm that NAT1:1 can be used with VPN disabled.
