Cosy failed to connect to 9/31 servers. The VPN server of my account is one of those failed

Using the Talk2M Connection Checker without logging into my account, I received the following messages

However, once I login to my account with the Connection Checker, I get an error that it cannot connect to vpn54. Is there a way I can change it to a vpn server I am able to connect to? Or is there another way to troubleshoot why its failing the connection to some vpn servers but not others?

Device serial number is [moved to staff note].

How is your site’s firewall configured? We recommend using the following wildcard addresses to allow access to all of our servers:

  • Required: *.talk2M.com:443 (TCP protocol).
  • Recommended: *.talk2M.com:443 (TCP protocol) and *.talk2M.com:1194 (UDP protocol).

You can read our full recommendations in KB-0209-00 - Addresses and ports used by Talk2M

If wildcard addresses are not possible, you can find a list of servers we use on this page: Ewon Technical Support - Talk2m VPN Servers

I contacted our IT guy and he told me “Port 443 is being forwarded to that [our static] IP address”. This is different than filtering out the talk2M domain right?

I’m not 100% sure what he meant but yes, it sounds like that’s something else. Port 443 is used for TCP connections to our servers but you still need to make sure traffic going to our domain isn’t filtered in general. Based on the Talk2m Connection Checker results both TCP and UDP traffic is blocked to a number of our servers, including VPN 54.
