Hello,

I am planning to use a HMS gateway to connect a CAN system to my plc via Modbus TCP. For this I intend to use AB7319. The CAN interface is described with a .dbc file.

Is it possible to configure the CAN interface on the HMS gateway with a .dbc file?

No, with the CAN Communicator, you need to create the CAN frames in the Configuration Manager software. Although you can’t import the DBC file directly, you could use it to help you create the CAN frames.
