Droping 50% of packets to existing WLAN

We are new to Anybus. We have a couple of Bolts and are trying to get them connected to our existing WLAN. We are running Aruba 300 series APs. We have followed the steps in A.5 and are getting some odd results. It seems we connect. Aruba shows the device connected. It is set for DHCP and gets the correct address static via DHCP. Connection to the device is on/off every 5 seconds. Basically, we can hit the device via continuous ping 5 times, then timeout 5 times, then hit 5 times and so on. Very regular.

We have tried different Bolts connected to different APs. We even created a very default WLAN to test on. We have never seen this behavior before. This cluster, BTW, consists of 60 Aruba IAP 305 and 325 APs with 600 clients with no issues. This WLAN in particular has 68 clients, none of which have any issues.

It may be that the Aruba system thinks the Bolt is a rogue AP or client and is sending deauth frames to it. We have seen this with some of the WiFi control systems with more advanced security features. Can you take a look at the logs (possibly filter by MAC).

You may also want to adjust the roaming settings on the Bolt due to the number of APs you have. It might be bouncing around a lot. From the AT Command Reference Guide:

Use ‘ATS4000=0’ in the AT Command field, for example.
