eBuddy Connection Issue

For some reason my eBuddy software will not locate any Ewon device I connect to through EtherNet/IP. I verified that my PC is set to the same range as the Ewon device on my Ethernet cards Ip4 settings, but no device displays on the screen. I’ve un-installed & re-installed the eBuddy software. The only way I can get the Ewon device to populate in eBuddy is by connecting to the device through eCatcher first. Only then will the device show up.

What type of Ewon?

Are you connecting to a LAN port and not a WAN port?

Yes, I can ping the Ewon

It could be a firewall issue, but you can still use the other features of eBuddy by manually entering the IP address if you are able to ping the Flexy. Just click Set IP, Backup/Restore, Firmware, etc. then enter the IP address or serial number.
