eCatcher remote endpoint connection issue

All of eCatcher users are having issues connecting to the remote devices today.
eWon Flexy’s with AT&T SIM/Modem
Is there some outage today?

Hello,

I am not seeing an outage nor do we have any scheduled maintenance.

Is it just AT&T devices that are having trouble?

Have you been able to connect to Ethernet connected devices?

We have connected to the ethernet devices many times.
We had connectivity earlier this morning.
I will setup a hardwired WAN Cozy and see if we have the same issue.

Hello,

Let me know if you have issues connecting with the Hardwired WAN Cosy.

Are all your AT&T devices located in close proximity?

Hardwired Cosy worked for a minute and still lost connection.
I had another user try and same issue.

The AT&T models are both in US and Mexico with same issue.
It seems intermittent. Can receive pings on occasion from the remote devices.

Hello,

It looks like your not pinging the correct IP. You ping 192.168.5.2, when in eCatcher It’s 192.168.5.1.

If you ping the VPN IP (10.27.176.106) do you still get the same results?

The PLC on the remote network is at 192.168.5.2
It has always been reachable via the this route.

I thought you were trying to ping the Ewon unit. Does the Ewon unit show inconsistent pings?

i had tried the eWON as well at 192.168.5.1.
All are replying at the moment and I have connected to the PLC.
The issue lasted about 3 hours.
Currently I can connect again.

Hello eFish,

Well i am glad the issue was able to resolve itself. That is bizarre behavior.

If you can get a backup with support files, the event logs may indicate any potential VPN issues.

I can do that.
I would have thought an issue with my laptop but 3 users experienced the problem.
One with the mobile app as well.
I’ll grab some logs from one of the Flexy units.

Thank you for responding so quickly to my posts.
Have a good day.
