eCatcher won't install a TAP-Win32 adapter

After completing a new eCatcher installation and trying to connect to one of my Flexy units I get the “No TAP-Win32 adapter found” error message.
I go into my Network Connections settings and I have no new interfaces/adapters created, only my LAN/WAN adapter.
These are the following course of actions I’ve taken to remedy:

  • I’ve tried going into the Talk2mVpnService/drivers folder and run the script as administrator, but nothing happens.
  • I’ve also disabled the built-in Windows 11 firewall/Defender settings and still nothing has happens.
  • I’ve also tried uninstalling/reinstalling both the Stable Release and Pre-Release version of eCatcher.

You can manually download and install the Tap-Win driver here. However, it sounds like something is blocking the installation on your PC, so you should consult your IT department for help.

Downloading and installing that driver and then running the Talk2mVpnService driver install/rename script fixed my issue. Thanks for your assistance.

Great! Thank you for the update!
