Have just purchased an EN2MB module and configured in RSLogix (IP address 192.168.142.80) I opened configuration as per the manual and setup a server (IP address 192.168.142.81).

I saved configuration to the device.
I have also tested my modbus request via a stand alone modbus scanner and it works fine. Am just reading a few output status signals for my test.
After applying the changes the first thing I noticed was that the modbus port indicators (MTCP) is flashing red which seems to indicate an issue. All other indicators appear to be OK.
When I tried to monitor the transactions - it states cannot connect
Any obvious things I have missed.

Hi @GS1,

Check the Unit ID. Try using 1 instead of 255.

Some Modbus TCP devices only respond to a certain ID, while others respond to multiple. What ID are you using in the simulator?

If it’s working in the simulator, and you have the networking correct, it should work with the EN2MB.
