Hello,

My name is Reagan Tippens and I am an automation engineering at a pharma company. I purchased your Anybus bolts for 2 Ethernet cable replace, and I was hoping you could send me the steps to configure the Bolt/ a link to the steps for configuration.

I had a couple of question after reading the manual.

  1. Do the bolts create their own WLAN if I am using them to replace an ethernet cable, or do I have to put them on an existing.

  2. When I configure the bolts, what is automatically configured when the Bolts are set to “Easy config Mode 4 and 5/6?” I’m assuming I need to configure the Access Points IP address (in this case it will be 10.0.0.XXX), is anything else mandatory?

They will create their own WLAN. You can change the IP address on the AP, but all you need to do is select the Easy config mode and they will take care of the rest.
