eWon Connection with VMWare Issue

Hello,

I am having an issue bridging the eWon connection into a VM through VMWare for Rockwell PLC/HMI devices. I am able to connect through eCatcher on my host and ping the needed devices: Here is the Route table for my host computer when connected and working correct.

Through any bridging type I have tried through VMware (bridged Wi-fi DHCP that the host is connecting e-catcher, NAT, and the TAP-V9 adapter) I am not able to connect or ping any devices. Here is the route table of the VM:

Just wanted to confirm that this in a VMWare issue and trace that down or if you have recommendations from seeing something like this before! Thank you.

This is a VMWare issue, but we did have a customer claim to get it working here:

Connection from Virtual Machine

That is how it is going to work at least it work for me VM ware network setting first card select as Bridge: Connected directly to the physical network and also select the sub menu Replicate physical network connection state and in configuration select TAP -Window Adapter V9. Second card select option no 2 NAT: used to share the host IP address. [1] [2] Good luck

Hello, here was the solution for our connection: had to set up these setting treating VM as NAT to the host over the VMWare wireless adapter (VMnet0 in our case which is set to the first network adapter).

I was able to connect to all the devices on the eWon network. Thank you.
