Ewon Flexy205 ViewON Question

Hello

Ewon Flexy205 and ViewON are being used to monitor Omron PLC.

I asked for help here because I had a question while working on the project.

First, ViewON supports Korean text, but Ewon Flexy Description does not seem to support Korean text.
I would like to know how to use Korean text description in Ewon Flexy.

Secondly, I would like to know if the user can change the language in ViewON.

Finally, I would like to know if I can read 32bit Double Word on Ewon Flexy during FINS TCP communication and process it on ViewON.

Hi @Hojin,

Unfortunately on the Flexy hardware, these are the only languages that are supported

I believe ViewON supports all of the characters for other languages but the actual app its self is only in English as far as I know, but I’m going to look into that one and find out.

It looks like you should be able to read double words in the Flexy and then pull in the value from that tag into ViewON

Hi @Hojin,

I just checked and it looks like ViewON is only available in English, but the Korean characters should be supported if you want to write text or code in Korean.
