Hello.
I tried to upgrade the firmware on my Ethercat and Profinet bricks. Each attempt failed and damaged the brick.
I have a couple of ECT and PIR B40 bricks and wanted to upgrade them with the latest firmware. The firmware manager found both bricks and started the upgrade but failed after some time. After the failed upgrade they do not work anymore. Quick test fails: usually with the power supply the LEDs start blinking. I cannot re-upgrade them, because the firmware manager does not recognize the bricks. What is the reason and how can I repair the bricks?
