I have a customer that has setup their network on 169.254.XXX.XXX. I know that this is an APIPA address and it does not work with Rockwell devices so, I setup NAT addressing on the eWON. Will the eWON rout my LAN addresses on 192.168.10.XXX to their 169.254.XXX.XXX addresses?
Packets from APIPA addresses are not routable, so I would expect a lot of problems trying this. You could try to send packets to that network, but you wouldn’t get anything back.
Your customer should use a different subnet if he wants to be able to use routing.
