I have eWon Flexy 205 with two serial ports. S1 is configured as RS232 and it works perfectly fine several years. Now i have tried to configure S2 using eVCOM(I have done the same with S1), but the port shows no activity(LED is not blinking). I tried with the same parameters as S1, I changed the line parameters and I am still not able to establish communication. The PLC I’m using is Fatek(The PLC connected on S1 is also Fatek). Any suggestions?
Have you gone into Setup > System > Communication > Serial Ports and activated the ports?
Of course I did, otherwise I will not be able to set the line parameters. As I mention, S1 port is working perfectly fine with the PLC using the standard Vcom port. S2 shows no activity
Yep, they are all open. S2 is RS232 by default. The dip switches refers only to S1 configuration
Does S2 work if you have nothing plugged into S1?
