I’m about to purchase AB7670 to solve my problem. however the mettler toledo device only provide the EDS file without detail I/O @ datapoints. Is it possible to use AB7670 to solve this issue ?
The Ethernet/IP scanner in the AB7670 will create a class 1 or 3 connection to the target. You will provide the Targets input and output instances along with the sizes. You can not make connection to particular points.
Typically you get get the connection instances from the EDS file but I recommend confirming with Mettler Toledo.
