Hello, I am trying to set this up on behalf of another integrator and I am not able to establish an internet connection during testing. The end goal is to establish Talk2M so the integrator can have access to their PLC. I believe the reason for this not working is due to some IT restrictions, but I cannot confirm this. Any help is appreciated.
For diagnosing possible firewall issues, we have a utility you can use: Talk2m Connection Checker
Run this on a computer connected to the same network as the Ewon. Ideally the computer’s connection should be as similar to the Ewon’s as possible, e.g. by using the same WAN cable and IP settings. The tool will check that it can reach our servers as well as the Internet in general. In addition to the result in the tool itself, it will save a log file to the documents folder containing detailed test logs.
