I have a Cosy installed at a remote customer site. It is working fine. I can communicated to the remote PLC from the base machine on my laptop, but the programming software is in a VM. Having trouble getting the VM IP address set up to work with the eCatcher on the base machine. I have been told that the VM needs to be set to NAT, but I still am not communicating. What am I missing?
Hi @lowellk,
Can you install eCatcher on your VM and see if you’re able to communicate using your PLC software that way?

Hello, Tim -
No, installing eCatcher on the VM is not the solution.
Turns out that I had the NAT in the VM configured for the same subnet as the remote subnet. To correct, I changed the NAT subnet to a different value (increased the third octet by a value of 1), and the communication worked wonderfully.
