Is there a way to interact with the USB to Can V2 using Matlab as Matlab needs its own drivers to talk to devices? There seem to be solutions for Matlab from other Vendors like Vector or NI. Or maybe it works with Python?

I am not aware of any direct support for Matlab or Python with the VCI drivers. We do have a LabView API addon. We also have software design guides for .net C and C++ . With the VCI V4 drivers installed they are available in C:\Program Files\HMS\Ixxat VCI\Manual as well as guides on https://www.ixxat.com/support/file-and-documents-download/drivers/vci-v4-driver.
