Modbus TCP with AB7629-F and Productivity 2000

Hi, I am trying to pull the correct information from my AB7629-F gateway with my Productivity 2000 PLC. I believe the PLC should act as a Master with Modbus-TCP and the gateway a slave. On the other side of the gateway, it’s connected to a Lakeshore 240 Temperature device. I have successfully established connection between the two over Profibus, as shown:

On the PLC side, I have configured the setup as follows:

Based on this, I assume I am getting some kind of data (I’ve unplugged the gateway from the system and these numbers go to 0 in every row):

I don’t know how the gateway stores the incoming temperature information, and thus how to extract it using the Modbus register commands. I’m using a Modbus Read command right now on the PLC. Do I need to use a Write command, then a Read command? Do I need to configure other gateway or PLC settings?

Any help to fill in the blanks is much appreciated!

You can find the available Modbus commands and registers in this guide.

Keep in mind that the Anybus Modbus Server (slave) has 2 Addressing modes, Modbus and Anybus.

To put the device in Anybus Addressing mode, disable Modbus Addressing Mode:
