New Ipad Pro not connecting to Wireless Bolt AP

I have a customer who just bought a new ipad pro they would like to use as an HMI. The idea is to use a VNC client on the ipad to our Omron HMI connected to the LAN side of the bolt configured as an AP. The ipad cannot connect with an authentication mode of WPA2, but it WILL connect when using open. We were successfully able to connect to the bolt from an iphone set to WPA2.

We tried resetting the network settings on the ipad, verified the ipad can connect to other networks, both 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands, multiple channels, rebooting all devices.

The error you are getting when trying to connect is “Incorrect password for network…”? Have you tried changing the password to something else? Made sure ipad is up to date?
