Not possible to set operation mode in current state

Hi,

I’m having some issues with changing the operation mode of my Anybus X gateway.
The article number is AB7808-F.

I’m at the point where I want to setup my profibus configuration via Nettool for profibus.
Just made an offline configuration that I want to download.
While choosing my transport path I get the following error message:

I read in the manual that you need to change the operation mode of the Anybus X Gateway to stop before you can download your configuration.

Therefore I downloaded Hyper terminal and Anybus Configuration Manager.
If I change the operation mode in Hyper terminal, nothing changes.
When I tried to change the operation mode in Anybus Configuration Manager I get the following error:

The current state is offline.
I have communication because I can retrieve the configuration from the gateway.
My profibus master is configured as shown below:

Is there any reason why I can’t change the operation mode in this state or is there something wrong with the steps I’ve took?

Are you connecting to the gateway using the PROFIBUS Config Connector?

Thanks for your reply.

No, I’m connected with the USB port on the front of the gateway.

You need to connect to the PROFIBS Config port to configure the PROFIBUS network on this device, since it doesn’t have an Ethernet protocol on the other side. You will need a straight PROFIBUS connector so as not to block the PROFIBUS port.
