Old Alarm Messages keep happening

On one of our ewons we keep getting alarm messages via email even though the alarms are not present or active in the ewon. This is a problem as the field tech is driving to the site for phantom shutdown alarms when the system is actually running. We now have them look at the viewon screens first, but I still need to get this to stop.

Are you using the Flexy’s built-in alarm system to send alarm notifications?

If so, can you view the Flexy’s alarm history (Tags → Alarms → History) and confirm the tags were not previously in alarm?

In the Alarm Setup section of a tag’s configuration, there is a setting called “Auto acknowledge on RTN”. This will acknowledge alarms that return to normal values, which could lead to an alarm triggering, sending a notification, and then acknowledging itself before the field tech can visit the site. Can you make sure this setting is not being used on the tags triggering these phantom alarms?
