Profibus connection and profibus simulator

Hey This is Yogesh From India

am Technical support engineer

Basically we have Profibus Energy meter it support only Profibus communication,so i have to connect Energy meter as slave and my pc as master,I tried with using DB9 to USB but its not successfull getting some error attached the documnet can you help how to solve this issue and how to use simulator ?

It could be that there is no power on the bus. Use a multimeter to check that there is bus power.

what is the voltage range?

There should be 5V between pins 5 and 6 as indicated in the error message.
