Using the M40 with transparent ethernet, is there a way to use the “HMS PROFINET GSD Generator Tool” to create the GSD file. When we try to run it we just get an error. Doing a little wireshark’ing we see that it trying to connect up to port 80 of the IP address assigned to the M40 module. The problem is that with transparent ethernet, port 80 is directed to the ‘host’ processor and not the M40 module, so we just respond with ‘page not found’.
