Re-activating eWON Cosy with expired certificate

Hi Tom,

You will need:

  1. Local device credentials (default is user:adm password:adm)
  2. Activation key (the owner/user of the device can get this in their eCatcher (VPN client) software, select device, go to Properties, Talk2M Connectivity)
  3. A laptop with eBuddy installed (download here: https://websupport.ewon.biz/support/companion/ebuddy/ebuddy-0 )
  4. Ethernet cable.

Plug into port 1 (Labelled LAN) on the Cosy 131 and open eBuddy, hit refresh and the device should appear so you can select it and select “Open Browser.” From there you will log in and go to the Wizards in the top right of screen. Select VPN/Talk2M wizard, enter activation key and hit Next and let it run. It may take a few minutes.

I am having an issue with the ewon I have the wan working. But I don’t have the internet connection working. Any insight on this ?

I think I might be confused with what you’re saying. Do you mean that the device is passing the internet connection wizard and failing the Talk2M connection?

It is passing the internet test saying the WAN works. Then it says failed dhcp for internet access and the VPN connection could not be completed.

It is also failing the talk2m portion as well.

Can I jump on teamviewer with you to take a look at this?
