Reading/Writing tags to compactlogix

I’m looking for info on how to read and write tags from an allen bradley compactlogix to an EWON Netbiter EC360. I have setup a data plan.
I have seen some comments that no message instruction or hardware is added to the IO tree or logic in the PLC but i’m left wondering how the tags are mapped?

We do have a template that you can follow in our Argos Administrator Manual. However, it can only be used for controller level tags. See the document below:
