I have an AB7078-B that has started to degrade over time (intermittant data dropouts). Purchased new module and used same configuration (downloaded to the module through Anybus Configuration Manager). The Modbus side works perfectly but I have no handshake with the controller on the Profinet side. Switch back to the old module and everything works again. Is there some device identification that I need to update in my controller for the new module?

You do need to set the device name to the profinet device. See ch4 step 4 and section 4.3 Assigning a Device Name.
