I have received a response back and I have been told that the Cosy 131 is not able to support a PPI link using a Siemens USB Adapter.

Could you check on this again to see if any Ewon software updates fixed this problem using a 6ES79013DB300XA0
SIMATIC S7-200, USB/PPI cable MM MULTIMASTER, for connection of S7-200 to USB PC interface.
I am not sure which Siemens USB Adaptor cable they were mentioning in your email below.

Sorry for the delay. The cosy 131 still does not support PPI communication through the usb port. PPI is supported on the Flexy but also not using the PPI/USB converter.
