Still experiencing error 20172

Hi @jseanor,

I am still experiencing a 20172 error code, cannot reach ssid. We upgraded firmware to 13.0. We rebooted ewon. He is using his iphone as hotspot. We checked it’s internet connection with a laptop and it’s fine. Iphone wifi is using only WPA-2 so no conflict with an WPA-2 Enterprise…

I don’t know what’s causing the issue now… any ideas?

What is the SSID he is trying to connect to? In the past I have had some issues with the ’ that automatically appears in an IPhone hotspot ssid.

Oh maybe,

I saw in the wifi list ’ blabla’s iphone’… so you are probably right on this!

We changed the name and we got same issue. We tried a different wifi network and we were able to pass the Internet wizard but not the VPN wizard:

To provide an update on this thread, it appears the unit was having an issue releasing a previously acquired SSID. Upon getting on the phone the unit had actually connected correctly after sometime.
