TAP missing in TIA with new version of eCatcher

I just found out about the PLC Discovery capability using the broadcast forwarding parameter. With eCatcher V6.7 and TIA V17 it works great. I can now do accessible node searches and find devices with out knowing the IP address beforehand.

I upgraded eCatcher to V6.10 and the TAP V9 interface no longer shows up in the available network adapters in TIA. I reverted to eCatcher V6.7 and the TAP interface returned.

Anyone else have similar experience?

This problem seems to come from an issue with installing the TAP adapter for the new eCatcher version. You may need to reboot after installing the latest version. If you’re still having issues then, try deleting and then recreating the TAP adapter following steps 4-7 in this thread: eCatcher TAP Adapter VPN Tunnel error - #2 by kyle_HMS
