Trying to connect ewon cosy to plc FP7

Hello, maybe you can help, but i am trying to connect into the panasonic software FPwin pro for a FP7 PLC connect the cosy with the plc, in that case, wish one is the source and destination IP ?

PC — PLC or COSY — PLC ?

I have to know this to establish the IP’s for the communication in the software settings

Hi Peter,

If you’re trying to get access to the PLC remotely through the Cosy, you’ll need to make sure that both of the devices are in the same subnet range. So if you have your Cosy’s IP be: 192.168.0.1
you’d need to make your PLC’s IP address be 192.168.0.x.
