Unusual online/offline

HI there,

I have a customer that unit flicks online offline everyy 10 min or so…

Before i try to switch to a TCP connection, i would like you to give your input on it.

I have the backup and log pictures. Can you have a look at it?

It appears to be dropping offline at irregular intervals.
After looking through the backup, I see that the VPN tunnel is currently using the TCP protocol already.

As a next step, I would update the firmware because I see that the FW version is a bit outdated. Updating the firmware to the latest version (currently 12.1s1) will help stabilize the connection if the disconnects are related to EMI. Additionally, it will give us access to new logs that will help with further troubleshooting.

If anyone is experiencing a similar issue then please try the following:

  • Switch VPN to TCP protocol
  • Update eWON to latest firmware version
  • Ensure the eWON is provided a stable WAN connection
