Is there a way that I can update my Cosy remotely over the VPN using eBuddy?

Certainly! First, we need to make sure that your eBuddy is up to date (primarily version 11.2 or higher) and that your eWON firmware is 11.0 or higher. The specific instructions on how to update eBuddy begin on page 12. I’ve circled where you will see the option to download a new version in orange on the image below.
To update using eBuddy, first you will need to connect to your device using eCatcher. Once you are connected, the device should show in eBuddy in a special row designated as an eCatcher device.
Simply select the device and go through a normal update process. Be sure to select “Passive Mode” as the FTP method on the firmware update screen (see below).
Please note, if you are doing a major update (i.e. from 11.1s1 to 12.1s1) you will need to do a pivot firmware update to 12.0s0 before updating to 12.1.s1.
