Is it possible to view the raw data sent and received via the USB to CAN v2 adapter?
e.g I have a PC application that talks on a CAN bus via a USB to CAN v2. Rather than logging what is sent and received at the PC application level. I would like to view the data that is sent and received at the USB to CAN adapter level.
Yes, you can use the CanAnalyser Mini program for that. It is included in the VCI V4 driver install. Choose “Inline write to file” icon and the data will be save to a .csv file.
Tested and shows the data. Is there anyway to determine which data frames were sent vs received?
What protocol is this? CANopen, J1939, etc.?
Can you share the trace file?
