LON to BACNET translator quiestions. Customer is asking about how to extract the XIF file.
Customer had a questions about add LONWorks devices. I advised to add the Neuron ID and Node for communication.
FYI:
The LON XIF files can be extracted from the LON device using the LONMaker software from Echelon. That’s about it. Our MAPS program can import XIF Files and that’s it.
An alternative for individual devices would be for the programmer to find the XIF file for the device at the Echelon Certified Products Database at https://www.lonmark.org/products/
