VPN Disconnects

Can you please look at the attached log file and tell me why the unit has gone off line at least once a day for the last three days? I see in the log file there are messages about signal harm term received and signal soft term received. What are these referring tMOVED TO STAFF NOTE (106 KB) o?

Are you sure you sent the right log Ted? There were only 2 reboots in the logs and they were 15 minutes apart. I didn’t see anything about signal hard or soft term received.

Did you look in the real time events>

Twice it was a timeout. Please change ‘clidle’ (in comcfg) to 300 and see if that helps.

On the 31st, the 1st, and the 3rd the VPN connection restarted around 10:30 am. I’m not sure why or what happened but twice it was immediately preceded by a df1 connection error so possibly related to the PLC.

In all cases the connection was recovered in about a minute.

The idle time out has been changed.
