Whitelist violation

I am trying to log into a new setup with a Netbiter that our customer purchased and installed.

When i go to connect, I get a Channel Error - whitelist violation?

Is this my IT or their IT not having something set right? where is the whitelist originating?

You will see this error when you create a connection in quickconnect that conflicts with how the device is configured.

Typically the error is caused when trying to use the network bridge without it being enabled in Argos. It can also occur when trying to use the serial port but the wrong port is configured or off all together.

If you are trying to remote into the Remote LAN of the netbiter make sure Allow use of Network is enabled under Management > gateway setting for the device you are using.
