Windows7 32bit crashes when installing drivers

I have fresh installed windows 7 pro 32bit and the available updates.
When i install the drivers provided by MTU DiaSys fot use of the IXXAT usb to can V2 compact Windows does start, but after 30 seconds after logon it restarts by itself.
vci_3_5_4_4543 and vci_2_20)855_0 are installed.
I have several installs running on both windows7 and windows 10 32bit, never had this problem.
What i did have is windows 10 installations showing this problem after being used for a long time, i didn’t know what caused this but after upgrading to the newest windows10 pro 32 , the problem was solved.
I think this could be the same problem.
Are there any known issues ?

Hello,

I have not seen this behavior with the VCI V3 drivers. Are you getting a blue screen? Or what exactly is happening?

Hello Nick,

No i’am not getting blue screens, all seems to go wel after login.

The laptop is restarting by itself.

When i install the program without the drivers all is well.

I did configure windows not to restart automaticaly

Hello,

Is this behavior continuous? Like it will restart over and over when the drivers are installed?

I want to understand what is happening as best as possible because I have not seen this behavior and may need to escalate.

Can you please try using this version?

Also, can you please try with a externally powered USB hub?

Good morning Nick,

This weekend i discovered it is not the driver causing the problem. I updated windows after a rollback, same problem occurred.

Now the ixxat driver is not installed.

It is not the first system i see with problems after a windows 7 or 10 update lately.
