Backup eWON with eBuddy and Include Support Files

Hi Aaron,

To take a backup you will first download eBuddy at http://cdn.ewon.biz/software/eBuddy/eBuddySetup.exe

Connect to the device through eCatcher or connect your laptop to a LAN port on the eWON.

  • Open eBuddy
  • Highlight the device you want to backup
  • Click Backup/Restore
  • Check “Include Support Files” and Next
  • Enter the eWON credentials and Next
  • Choose a location to save and it will download the backup file
  • Reply to this email with back up file attached

I keep getting this error now

An internal error has occurred within the server, and the connection has been terminated. Maybe the VNC password is wrong.

2 - Highlight the device you want to backup
3 - Click Backup/Restore
4 - Check “Include Support Files” and click Next
5 - Enter the eWON credentials and click Next
6 - Choose a location to save and it will download the backup file
